A caring enterprise in our district donated 1 million yuan to Xinwill Chen Jinglun Middle School to help the renovation project of the school playground.
The donation ceremony was held on the afternoon of December 2. On behalf of the school, the principal of Xinhui Chen Jinglun Middle School received 1 million yuan donated by Jiangmen Changhe Chemical Industry Group, which was used to improve the school environment.
The original old sports ground and old basketball court of Xinhe Chen Jinglun Middle School have been in use for more than 30 years. There are uneven ground, potholes on the runway, and many red ant nests. The school's physical education and student activities have potential safety hazards.
In order to effectively improve the school environment, improve the level of running a school and ensure the safety of students in school, Xinwill Chen Jinglun Middle School upgraded the school sports ground in the second half of this year. The renovation project covers an area of about 28700 square meters and has a total investment of 9.92 million yuan. The main construction contents include concrete foundation project of the sports ground, laying 13mm thick seamless prefabricated runway (400 m), artificial grass football field, 6mm thick seamless prefabricated silicon PU basketball court, water supply and drainage project.
It is understood that Zhao Liheng, general manager of Jiangmen Changhe Chemical Industry Group and president of Xinhui District Young Entrepreneurs Federation, is a graduate of the 2010 Senior high school of Chen Jinglun Middle School. In order to repay his alma mater and benefit his younger brothers and sisters, he decided to donate money to help the school playground renovation project. At present, the renovation of the sports ground has been completed and put into use. The students of Chen Jinglun Middle School said that they have enjoyed a better and more comfortable physical exercise venue and extracurricular activity environment, which makes them more motivated to study.
Lin, a student at Xinwill Chen Jinglun Middle School, said: "Since the construction of this new playground, more students like to go to the playground to exercise. The playground used to be a sand field, and when you exercise, your face would be covered with dust, but after the construction of this new playground, this problem was solved."
He, a student at Xinwill Chen Jinglun Middle School, said: "Every day when I go to school, I see this colorful new playground, and I feel very energetic and enthusiastic to start a new day. Just like this basketball court, which used to be a concrete floor, it's easy to get hurt when playing, but now it's safer to replace it with this kind of plastic floor."
The benevolence, righteousness and kindness of the caring enterprise will surely inspire all teachers and students to forge ahead. I also hope that the students will cherish the good learning environment, work hard, keep making progress, and repay the society with excellent results in the future.
